In fact, when walking down Commercial Street, it is quite common to overhear someone wish they’d “come back in a second life as a dog in Ptown!” It’s no secret that the lap of luxury our four-legged friends enjoy in Provincetown is quite plush. Dogs must be well-behaved and get along with people and other dogs, as the owners have two black Labs themselves, Duff and Coal! Upon arrival, you and your furry friend will be welcomed with a “BrassWOOF” dog pack including complimentary treats, poo bags, and a dog towel to use should your four-legged friend go for a swim in the nearby bay. Leashed dogs are welcome in all common areas (inside & outside) – even on the furniture! – and the hotel offers extra water and food dishes should you forget to pack them along.

Important Park, Beach & Local Vet Information

When visiting Provincetown, your dog is welcome to frolic off-leash on the Town Harbor Beach from 6am to 9am and 6pm to 9pm from Memorial Day to November 1 and at any time from November 2 to Memorial Day. The National Seashore beaches, such as Herring Cove and Race Point, require your dog to be leashed at all times. Provincetown also boasts a world-class dog park, the Pilgrim Bark Park, which is located at the intersection of Route 6 and Shank Painter Road. If needed, expert vet services are provided by Veterinary Wellness Center Of Provincetown, at 43 Race Point Road, 508-909-4800.
