Founded in 1978, the Provincetown Business Guild (PBG) is a membership organization that promotes Provincetown as The Travel Destination for the LGBTQ+ community. We aim to elevate and cultivate the queer identity of Provincetown, drive LGBTQ+ tourism, and support our local businesses.

The Guild is made up of nearly 300 members, including retail shops, galleries, restaurants, lodging establishments, attractions, professional organizations, night-clubs and more that support the organization’s mission. We aim to bring people to Provincetown to stay, eat, shop, and experience the specialness of a destination where they are both celebrated and safe to be themselves.

One of the ways the Guild promotes Provincetown is through the production of world-class events like Pride in June, Carnival in August, and Holly Folly & First Light in December, helping to attract over a million visitors annually.

The Guild also oversees the operations of the Provincetown Pride Center at 115 Bradford St.
