Get out on the water with your best friends, partners and even lovers! We have two beautiful, spacious boats which will be your personal water taxi and center of fun as we cruise Cape Cod Bay and the Ocean. Both boats can accommodate up to six passengers, have sound systems, refrigerators for your food and drink, and full size bathrooms. Choose between the 38 foot Beth Ann, our flagship, which has multiple relaxation areas and an upper deck, or the 29 foot Bethie, a boat reminiscent of the old cruising boats of Newport, Rhode Island.
We offer a number of exciting options for your time on the water - just a day of Fun in the Sun, Evening Sunset Cruises, Harbor Cruises or Whale Watching. And, of course, we do the traditional ocean fishing trips as well!
Our half day Fun in the Sun trip saves you a lot of aggravation! Don’t bother bicycling over to the trail and trudging through a mile of hills and sand to get to the water. Uber it down to our dock on MacMillan Pier, jump aboard, and before you know it we will be anchored within wading distance to the beach of your choice. You can stay on the boat basking in the sun and taking the occasional refreshing dip in the sea, without the crowds, listening to the tunes and consuming your drink(s) and cuisine of choice. Or, you can wade ashore and visit with your friends and make new ones. Be the ones everyone is envious of as you cruise up to the beach!
The two hour Evening Sunset and Harbor Cruises can afford you either some quiet, romantic alone time with your better half, or an opportunity to view beautiful Provincetown and the surrounding waters with your closest friends or family members. We have been fortunate to host several successful engagement proposals taking place with the setting sun, as well as pre-dinner cocktail cruises with groups of friends.
Provincetown and whale watching go hand in hand, and we offer you the opportunity to see these tremendous mammals up close and personal, but without the 250 other people you contend with on the big boats, pushing and shoving in order to get the best picture. We go where the whales are, and if we have to go a little further and stay out a little longer to give you a fantastic experience we will.
And, of course, we have our fishing trips for those adventurous souls. Come with us for either our four hour trip or are shorter two and a half hour trip and catch some striped bass or bluefish for the grill that night. We supply all the equipment, licenses and even fillet your fish for you. Don’t know how to fish? Who cares, we’ll teach you how and have a ton of fun doing it.

Provincetown Community Compact, The Compact, sponsors the annual Swim For Life & Paddler Flotilla, a benefit for AIDS, women's health & the community since 1988. The Compact, established in 1993 by artist Jay Critchley, is a community-building and philanthropic organization that nurtures the vitality of the community, connecting the environment, the arts and the economy.
This year's Swim for Life is a summerlong challenge, through September 12: Swimming in Place - our place, your place, encouraging swimmers, and others, to swim where they are or create a challenge for themselves. Invite your family, friends and coworkers to support you and pledge money while you: dance, jog, cook, bike, dribble a basketball, write, create - in your bathtub, on the beach, in a pond or pool or anywhere. Join us!
The Compact's mission is to advance the health and cultural well being of the town, its people, and the natural environment of the Lower Cape. It also acts as fiscal sponsor (Think-ubator Project) for social, environmental and artistic projects and manages two Dune Shack residencies.

A special strand of ribbons that includes black ribbons with the names of the victims inscribed in gold (plus one for those injured) is installed at Orlando City Hall during the annual commemoration.

As both a school and community center, 46 Bradford Street has been a Provincetown asset for over a century. The Provincetown Commons will continue that tradition by creating a year-round working space for creative individuals and start-up businesses, and by maintaining 46 Bradford Street as a space for education and community gatherings.
The new intergenerational space, including established Provincetown artists and welcoming of the next generation, is critical to the town’s effort to both preserve and grow the arts as a vital part of our economy and as a facet of our tourism. And building a technological hub for media arts will enable new types of creative innovation to take root here.
The new space will operate with a membership model and is anticipated to include studios, a flexible classroom space, an exhibition space, shared desks, high-speed internet, meeting space, and digital media production facilities.
We are committed to developing educational programs and providing civic space for public programs that anchor 46 Bradford Street to its historic uses.

Lynette Molnar, the force behind Girl Power Productions, began promoting women’s events when she was 19 by strolling down Commercial Street in Provincetown greeting visitors and inviting them to attend one of the first lesbian plays ever produced. In between going to the Tea Dance every single afternoon at The Boatslip that summer, and to The Pied every night, she filled the theatre day after day with women from around the country. Since then, she’s been hooked.
From San Francisco to Provincetown and states in between, Lynette has created hundreds of events for the community including a number of "firsts," -- the first ever gay and lesbian holiday festival – Holly Folly, Single Women's Weekend, Women of Color Weekend, Girl Splash, The Kiss-In, and the First Good Old Fashioned Lesbian Revival, among many others. She also co-curated the first international art exhibition on AIDS.
Lynette has also contributed to the national LGBT community through her volunteer work with The Human Rights Campaign, GLAD, NCLR, and The Task Force. She is the recipient of numerous honors including The Task Force’s Community Service Award, as well as several business and creative awards. For Lynette, it comes down to social activism. "I’m really driven by social change," she says, "and that passion has fueled me my whole life." It is that passion that compelled her to come out of the closet at 15, to later serve on the Human Rights Campaign Board of Governors, to help lead any number of actions for LBGT rights, and to Provincetown For Women.
Provincetown For Women brings to you what Lynette loves most - women.

Sometimes the universe sends you a sign, then hits you over the head with it. Like so many Ptown residents, Paul Nesbit’s arrival 9 years ago came on the heels of adversity. His corporate layoff turned out to be a ticket to the end of the Cape, but not the end of the world.
Paul came here having built a distinguished career in retail. From window dresser to store manager, buyer to product developer, he had learned and loved the business from every angle. But after the abrupt end to that professional chapter, Paul elected a simpler life here. One that would allow him to recover from corporate cruelty in a kinder setting. He became a lifeguard, a swimming coach, a bartender, and time just went by a little aimlessly.
Remember the part about the universe hitting you on the head? Well, it was a back injury that woke Paul up to the time that had passed. While healing, he had to reimagine the life he wanted to live. Physically, bartending was no longer an option, but his dream of opening his own store – a dream he had for more than 20 years but somehow had forgotten – was a very real option.
“The only thing stopping me was fear of success,” he said as we sat in his new, freshly painted, fully-stocked store called Mate. T-shirts, tank tops, and long-sleeve thermals emblazoned with Paul’s Ptown-centric designs – landmarks from lighthouses to Spiritus, depictions of the hazardous Ptown bike culture, and the iconic Mate logo that is at once a friend, a partner, and a command – surround us in living-out-loud color.
Paul’s vision elevates the vacation T to wearable commentary and personal expression. No matter who you are, if you love Ptown, you’ll love Mate. And that’s an order.
