A grand 1850's captain's house, it has been a guest house since the 1940's. One block to Commercial Street. Three blocks to the Boston ferry. Walk to restaurants, bars, dance clubs, shopping & art galleries.
The house has 14 guest rooms all with private bath. Our shared bath accommodations on the third floor are currently closed for the season and available only for long term stays in July and August. Call us for details. For 2025 we are serving Continental Breakfast (Coffee, Tea, Juice, Pastries, Bagels, Yogurt, Cereal and Fruit). There are also 3 outdoor decks, a back patio & lawn area. All rooms feature hardwood floors. All rooms with private baths also have a/c, refrigerators, and microwave ovens as well as smart tv's and cable and Wi-fi access. Free parking is included. No smoking or candle burning allowed in or around the house. Adult atmosphere. No animals allowed on the property.
