hi everyone, mike akerman here — the new events & social media manager for the Provincetown Business Guild! i’m your new voice behind @visitptown on IG, TikTok, Bluesky, Threads, and Facebook.

we’ve got a lot in store with this full-time role and i’m so excited to get things going and connect with everyone in the community.

i’ve called provincetown home for 4 years now, working with the @ptownbrewingco and most recently as the events and marketing manager for @gifford.house .. during the winters, i produce pride events for gay ski weekend in park city. with a degree in tourism and love for this community, i’m super excited to be in this role..

Get ready, campers ⛺️ — Pattie Gonia is head

Get ready, campers ⛺️ — Pattie Gonia is headlining Carnival, and tickets are ON SALE now! She’s your Camp Counselor, Recreation Director, Musical Director, and ultimate camp BFF.

IT’s CAMP! is a drag show all about queerness, nature, and camp! Featuring drag performers Sequoia, VERA!, Nini Coco, and local Provincetown drag artists to be announced.

Pattie Gonia is an environmentalist, drag queen, and community organizer with a passion to get queer people outside. To date, their community has raised more than 2.7 million dollars for community organizations diversifying the outdoors and climate movement. They’ve been named Outside Magazine’s Person of the Year, National Geographic Traveler of the Year and a TIME Magazine Next Gen Leader.

Doors open at 7:30pm
Show starts at 8:30pm

Come early for a pre-show beverage at the PBG Bar. A variety of cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options will be available.

…and the 2025 theme is Summer Camp!

We do not need actual poster designs at this time, simply submit a portfolio of sample works by March 7th.

The selected commissioned artist will be
notified by end of March and will receive
a $1000 honorarium, added value marketing and PR exposure.
