Whale Walks

Starting March 27 and extending through the month of April, the Center for Coastal Studies (CCS) offers guided whale walks along the beaches of Provincetown.Cetacean species commonly seen include the critically endangered North Atlantic right whale, humpback whale, fin, minke and sei whales.

CCS staff and educators lead the walks, which depart from Herring Cove or Race Point beaches in Provincetown. The guided walks typically last about 90 minutes.

Participants are advised to wear good walking shores, and should be prepared to walk between one-half and three miles.

There is a suggested donation of $10 for CCS members, and $15 for non-members.  For more information and to register, please go to the Center for Coastal Studies Events Calendar.
