Autism and Gender Diversity: When Two Spectrums Overlap

Autistic and gender-diverse communities share a significant, well-documented comorbid overlap and a beautiful connection between exploring outside the gender binary and neurotypical expectations. This talk is an identity-affirming space created by and for autistic gender-diverse people to socialize and network. Attendees will explore up-to-date research, identify strengths, and explore self-accommodation strategies to help navigate TransWeek. Come celebrate the unique strengths, creativity, and deep joy found at the intersection of neurodivergence and gender diversity. Together, we will share stories, discuss how we navigate relationships and sensory joys, and explore what it means to live authentically, unmasked, and proud.
