Sail Boston 250 Fireworks Sail on the Historic Schooner Hindu

Ride aboard the newly restored Historic Schooner Hindu as she celebrates her 80th year of chartering and 101st year of sail. This gorgeous 1925 William H. Hand Jr. design, is a gaff-rigged schooner rich in history. Originally launched as a private yacht named the Princess Pat, she sailed between Boston and India in the late 30s, transporting spices, and was thus renamed Hindu. She served in WW2 as part of the Hooligan Navy, before finding her current home in Provincetown, MA in 1946, as the first sailing charter and whale watching boat out of Cape Cod.
