Sail Boston 2026 on the Historic Schooner Hindu

Sail aboard the newly restored Historic Schooner Hindu as she celebrates her 80th year of chartering and 101st year of sail. This gorgeous 1925 William H. Hand Jr. design, is a gaff-rigged schooner rich in history. Originally launched as a private yacht named the Princess Pat, she sailed between Boston and India in the late 30s, transporting spices, and was thus renamed Hindu. She served in WW2 as part of the Hooligan Navy, before finding her current home in Provincetown, MA in 1946, as the first sailing charter and whale watching boat out of Cape Cod.

Be a part of history, and sail on this beautiful vessel during the Sail Boston 2026 Festival. See the beauty that Hindu brings, and watch her gleam in the sunshine. Offering 90 minute day sails as well as two hour sunset sails. All sails are BYOB, and guests are welcome to bring whatever food and drinks that they wish for this memorable experience.
