The 48th Annual Provincetown Carnival August 15-22, 2026

Carnival – created by the Provincetown Business Guild in 1978 – is Ptown’s original Summer celebration of community, expression, and creativity. The weeklong festival attracts tens of thousands of guests from all over the world to enjoy parties, performances, costume contests, and the legendary Carnival parade. The 48th Carnival parade will roll down Commercial Street on Thursday, August 20.

The Queens from Queens! Tony & The Kiki is a New York City born and bred powerhouse band that exploded onto the scene like a supernova of sequins, sass, and sorcery. Their soul-shaking live shows, as well as their unapologetic songwriting, have earned them notable acclaim, captivating audiences from the underground to the world stage.

Celebrate Carnival in Provincetown by sharing some self-love in the form of fresh air, exercise, and community right in step with your LGBTQ+ family. ‘Welltown 5k’ will stretch the entirety of Commercial Street finishing at the Provincetown Inn.

Carnival Cruise: F@g Bash at Sea

All Aboard, babes. The Celebrity Cruise is on its way to Studio 54. Provincetown’s 48th Annual Carnival sets sail with Steve Fabus and Father Figure. We’ll be dancing, sightseeing, flirting, singing—and who knows, maybe even meeting a celebrity. Boarding + Music begins at 4:15PM | Boat leaves at 5PM

48th Annual Carnival Parade

The 48th Annual Provincetown Carnival parade will be held on Thursday, August 20st as part of the week-long celebration from August 15-22. The parade theme for 2026 is “Deep Sea Disco!”

'The Last Bass' Closing Party with Dee Diggs

The Official Carnival Closing Party! Dee Diggs is a DJ and recording artist based in Brooklyn, NY. She is unapologetically black, queer, and a lifelong student of the tenets of House Music. The east coast darling bares her soul on these decks — when you hear her, you feel her, and there is no mistaking the beauty and grit of this sound and this feeling!
