The original founders of the PBG. Bottom Row, Left to Right: Edward Arruda, Arpina Stanton, Don Robertson. Top Row, Left to Right: Dexter Ross, Paul Christo, George Littrell and Ed Brady

Founded in 1978, the Provincetown Business Guild (PBG) is a membership organization that promotes Provincetown as The Travel Destination for the LGBTQ+ community. We aim to elevate and cultivate the queer identity of Provincetown, drive LGBTQ+ tourism, and support our local businesses.

The PBG is made up of over 300 members, including retail shops, galleries, restaurants, lodging establishments, attractions, professional organizations, night-clubs, non-profits and more that support the organization’s mission:

— • —

To build and strengthen a vibrant business community in Provincetown by promoting LGBTQ+ tourism, producing engaging events, and providing unparalleled marketing opportunities for our members.

— • —

One of the ways the PBG promotes Provincetown is through the production of world-class events like Pride in June, Carnival in August, and Holly Folly & First Light in December, helping to attract over a million visitors annually.

The PBG also oversees the operations of the Provincetown Pride Center at 115 Bradford Street.

Learn more, make a donation, volunteer or simply reach out to us to get involved in helping to spread the word about the magic of LGBTQ+ Provincetown at Ptown.org.
