Pride Rally at Town Hall & ‘Sashay’ to Tea
EVENT DESCRIPTION
Come celebrate the heart of Pride on Saturday, June 1st at 4:00PM on the steps of Provincetown’s historic Town Hall with a short rally structured in the Spirit of Stonewall. Words from Provincetown community members, politicians – and a rainbow-colored song or two – will help to remind us why we need to be PROUD of ourselves and our LGBTQ+ family every single day. Even in Provincetown, where every day carries the spirit of Pride!
This year’s speakers will include:
- Hosts Mackenzie Miller & Austin Fiszel
- Womxn Women of Color Weekend Leadership Team
- Matthew Blaise of OBODO Nigeria
- Activist Muhammad Burhan
- Hayden McDermott of Provincetown’s SummerONE Program
- Performers Brittany Rolfs & Delta Miles
At around 4:45PM, our rally will be followed by short “Sashay” to Tea where we can all celebrate together on the dance floor at Pride Tea Dance at The Boatslip. Make sure to don your truest colors and express yourself boldly and beautifully 🌈
