Broadway on the Beach Artist Series Presents Jackie Burns & Nicholas Connell

This summer, the Crown & Anchor showcases the BEST of Local Provincetown Talent every Monday night at ‘Broadway on the Beach’.

Hosted by Brittany Rolfs and Marissa Miller, each week your two favorite ‘leading ladies’ will be joined by a Broadway guest, as part of our Broadway on The Beach Artist Series! Straight from Broadway, each artist will join our roster of local talent, as well as bring their own solo show to the Crown that same week, offering our guests new and exciting entertainment all summer long!

Join Broadway’s Jackie Burns and Nicholas Connell’s cabaret show for one night only!

Jackie Burns is currently in Titanique as Celine Dion. Burns is Broadway’s longest running Elphaba in Wicked. She replaced Idina Menzel in If/Then and has also appeared in the Tony Award-winning revival of Hair and Rock of Ages. Her regional credits include performances at Muny, PCLO, Sacramento Music, Paper Mill, Casa Mañana, Alley, and George Street. Onscreen, she has appeared in “Set it Up,” “The Magnificent Meyersons,” and “Ghost.” Additionally, she originated the lead roles in the musicals “Cowboy Bob” and “A Walk on the Moon.”

Nicholas Connell is a singer/songwriter, music director, producer, and arranger. He has a B.M. in Songwriting from Berklee College of Music and is currently on senior faculty at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA). Nicholas is Co-Creator and Music Supervisor of the hit musical TITANIQUE. MD credits: Brent Spiner’s In Search of Lost Time, For The Record: The Brat Pack (NCL), The Color Purple (2015 IRNE Award for Best Music Direction), In The Heights (2014 IRNE), Xanadu, Next To Normal (Speakeasy Stage).
