Twenty Summers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization in Provincetown, Massachusetts, founded to foster public engagement with art and artists, and to honor the legacy of art in Provincetown. It restored the historic Hawthorne Barn where that legacy began and where its festival of concerts, conversations, artists residencies, and special events take place from mid-May to mid-June annually. To visit the Barn or purchase tickets, please see our calendar of events. Please note that the Barn is only open to the public when we have a listed event. Each season we film and record all events, having now grown a rich media archive. You can watch or listen to past events for free on our videos page and podcast page.
Season Five of Twenty Summers will take place May 18 to June 16, 2018!
The Art House came in to it's present form following a significant renovation in 2006. That year, performers such as Hedda Lettuce and Poppy Champlin helped launch our live performance business.
In 2007, following another renovation, Miss Richfield 1981 joined the Art House as our headlining act. Also in 2007, the restaurant space was leased to chef Steven Frappolli, and he founded Frappo66.
Varla Jean Merman arrived at Art House in 2008 and shared top billing with Miss Richfield 1981.
With each passing year we've been proud to host Provincetown's top entertainers. 2010 saw significant improvements to the bar and dining room areas. One thing is for certain, and that is at Art House we will continually strive to provide our patrons with a superior entertainment and dining experience.
The Provincetown Theater is a year-round community-driven center for the performing arts. All productions and events take place in the 130-seat theater located at 238 Bradford Street. The Provincetown Theater is a 501c3 nonprofit organization and all donations are tax exempt. Thank you for your support!

Hello to all my darling prairie dogs!
Just bought my bus ticket for Provincetown, MA, where I’ll be for the entire 2018 summer season! This year you can see me in my new summer home, The Pilgrim House, which used to be Sage. It’s super easy to find across the street from Land’s End TrueValue Hardware on Commerical Street! Or next door to the Purple Feather – yum yum!
I think you’ll love my new room, with new comfortable chairs and a delicious restaurant and bar to enjoy before and after the show!
