Stories On The Hill: Anne P. Ryan

Join us for a special edition of Stories On The Hill as author Anne P. Ryan shares the remarkable story behind her memoir, Dad, Barbie & Me. Anne was quite literally the first child in the world to play with a Barbie doll. Her father helped design two of the most iconic toys ever created—Barbie and Hot Wheels—and her extraordinary childhood inspired the memoir she’ll discuss during this fascinating evening. Anne will be interviewed by Provincetown favorite, professional dog walker, and devoted Barbie enthusiast Paul E. Halley, whose enthusiasm, and sense of humor promise to make this a lively and memorable conversation. Following the discussion, Anne will sign copies of Dad, Barbie & Me, which will be available for purchase. This event is free and open to the public. The Shallop Bar will be open before the program begins — come up early, grab a refreshment, and join us On The Hill for what promises to be an incredibly interesting Provincetown story.
