For his third year doing his residency at the Crown & Anchor, João Santos is bringing a whole new show – featuring and debuting first time ever performed original music, before the release of his album. João’s music references his background in gospel, jazz and even cabaret but with the groove of his Brazilian roots, r&b and pop/rock stylings. He’s written music for other artists, such as Olivia Lux from RuPaul’s Drag Race s13, and collaborated/ worked with some of the greats – John Cameron Mitchell, Justin Vivian Bond., Jake Wesley Rogers, Miz Cracker.

The concert will feature sexy daddy Andrew Sheranian on piano, rock star Giuliano D’Orazio on guitar and production and the incredible art installation of Amy Ford’s work (created and tailored for this show and album specifically).

“It’s Not John” is about identity, feeling good, engaging in queer excellence and power and indulging in love for music, art, community, Provincetown and oneself.
