This studio gallery of Provincetown artist James Frederick is located on the first floor of Whaler’s Wharf, just steps from Commercial St. Frederick paints, illustrates, draws comics and authors destination coloring books. Original artworks, comic books, Color Me P-Town, Color Me Cape Cod, and accessories are available. The studio hosts opening receptions on selected Fridays from 7-9 during the summer season. Bowersock Gallery is located in front of Pepe’s on the Wharf in Provincetown’s historic gallery district, on the tip of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Provincetown is recognized as one of America’s oldest continuing arts colony in the country.
The Bowersock Gallery was established in 2004 as a venue to encourage and explore a deeper interest and enjoyment for contemporary, modern, abstract, surrealism, tonalism and classical works of art.
We are dedicated to being one of the foremost art galleries in New England.
Our passion is to serve our clients along with a commitment to foster an environment where inspiration can flourish. Genres include portrait, figure, landscape, still life, sculpture, realism and encaustic works, in diversified forms of visual expression.
We currently represent thirty established New England artists as well as emerging new artists, regionally and nationally recognized, many with memberships in the Guild of Boston Artists, Copley Art Society, the National Sculpture Society and the Pastel Society of America.
Our goal is to further ongoing education that informs, engages and enlivens the individual art collector and art community, through innovative art installations, openings, exhibitions and home staging. The Bowersock Gallery’s openness and willingness to evolve and change is paramount to all of our art endeavors.

The Rice Polak Gallery is one of the primary venues for contemporary art. Founded in 1992 the gallery represents a group of emerging and established artists whose work is both contemporary and contemplative. Rice Polak shows a wide cross-section of artistic approaches including paintings, works on paper, sculpture, photography and installations. Exhibitions throughout the summer feature artists with international acclaim. The gallery's feature exhibition schedule is as follows:
