7:30 PM, Phantom of the Opera (1925) presented by WOMR at Schoolhouse Gallery, 494 Commercial Street ($5.00 donation)

Screening of the 1925 film. A rare opportunity to see a classic horror film to start off the weekend.

 

8:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Hell Town On Winthrop from Commercial Street to Bradford Street (free)

Outdoor haunted walk with plenty of thrills and scares. Warm cider and good fun turn this into a Halloween block party.

 

8:30 PM, Thriller Thursday Townie Halloween, Club Purgatory at the Gifford House Inn, 9 Carver Street (no cover)

Cash prizes for best costume and free buffet served at 8:30 PM. Dancing at 10:30 PM with DJ Scotty.

6:00 PM until close, Haunted Dinner: The Mews Sideshow at the Mews Restaurant, 429 Commercial Street

The staff of the Mews turn the restaurant into a Halloween freak show complete with the alligator boy and bearded lady. Call for reservations 508.487.1500.

The dunes are full of legends and ghosts. Take a Halloween ride and see what awaits you. Tours are 40 minutes each with the first one starting at 6pm. Space is limited.

Pirate ghosts and angry spirits roam the streets of Ghost Town. Beware and enter at your own risk for you may never leave. October 23,24,30,31 Admission $13 Adults and kids 13 and up. Gates Open 6:30pm-10:30pm (last tickets sold at 10:30pm)

One: A selection of works by PAAM artist-members in the Hoffman Gallery. Two: A selection of works by public school students and works chosen from the permanent collection in the Moffett Gallery.

 

7:30 PM, John Waters'"Polyester"at Provincetown Theater, 238 Bradford Street ($10.00)

This screening is a joint fundraiser with the Provincetown International Film Festival. Each ticket gives you a chance to win autographed copies of the "Polyester" DVD which includes the Odorama card. Come early & have local celebrities help you apply your Halloween make-up (please bring your own make-up). It promises to be a fun night of popcorn, booze, camp and community!

12:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Provincetown Business Guild Pumpkin Patch Raffle

Go to any of the participating stores and buy a numbered mini pumpkin, or several, for $3.00 each. Bring your mini pumpkin(s) down to the Firehouse on Commercial Street (next to Town Hall) to have your number entered in a raffle to win one of 9 great prizes. Prizes are donated from Bowersock Gallery, Monty's, Hersheldon's Leather, BodyBody, Chadington's, RC Handcrafted Jewelry, i d, and WA. Over $600.00 in prizes and 9 chances to win! Start your holiday shopping early.

Participating stores will have an identifying poster in the window or you can pick up a list at the Firehouse. Drawing is at 6pm and you do not need to be present to win.

Come and enjoy a magic show by award winning magician and children’s entertainer Peter O’Malley. Voted Entertainer of the Year by the Boston Parents Paper (Best Magician), Peter O’Malley provides family fun and great children's entertainment.  His performances provide mystifying magical illusions and lots of audience participation and of course a million laughs.

Put on your costume and come visit the Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum on Halloween.  Costume Contest! Prizes! Those in costume will be admitted free all day on Halloween. The museum is open from 9AM to 5PM.

6:00 PM - 9:00 PM, First Ever: Halloween Bash & Silent Benefit Auction at Castle Hill. Music will be spun by The Funky Soul Train Man: Matty Dread….while we auction off works of the faculty, students and friends that came out of the Benefit Wood-firing. The evening will include Best Costume Contest with cash prizes judged by local artist and friend: Ed Christi.  Pumpkin carving contest…bring your carved pumpkin that night or come on Thursday October 29th from 4 – 6 pm for the Silent Auction Preview and carve a pumpkin directly at Castle Hill.
